The Catholic Church is facing an uncomfortable truth: A new podcast "Dignity and Care" by the Centre for Child Protection (CCP), a division of the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, discusses how abuse occurs, how it can prevented and how the journey towards healing may look like.
German journalist Henrik Evers debates with Father Hans Zollner, Jesuit and Director of the CCP about the fight against abuse and cover-up the painful and hidden resolution of scandals. The podcast addresses dignity, the protection of children and vulnerable adults, explains perpetrator profiles, and points out responsibility and accountability in the Church and beyond.
